TUESDAY- An ex missionary was in Yuto visiting, and he invited us to eat lunch with one of his investigators. They. Are. Awesome. They are former investigators because the missionaries stopped visiting. They aren´t married because they cant get their documents. But they love the church and want their kids to get baptized!
After lunch, Gaby destroyed me with those pokey things, so I had to go change my shirt and pants because I was covered! As I was picking them out of my pants outside, an inactive came up to me and asked if we could revisit him. We also taught a short lesson, and I was in my gym shorts, shirt, and tie the whole time. Classic
In the night, after a few lessons with some Less Actives, we were talking to Oscar and found out that he has some work before he can get baptized.

WEDNESDAY- Nothing too special, found a lot of new investigators

THURSDAY- We didnt plan, and hardly studdied. We also had to fix a problem with some other elders in our district. As we were out and about, we watched a guy on his moped crash in to a kid on his bike, told the kid, ¨Youre fine, nothing happened¨ then left........ Some people. Also taught a handfull of Less actives.

FRIDAY- Did our planning, and organized/modified our list of members. We are trying to reactivate a lot of less actives, especially Priesthood holders, becuase we only have 4 in the branch, and 2 are the missionaries... Family night was followed up with some milinesa sandwiches! SCORE

SATURDAY- We went to Ledesma to do our District meeting. We talked about being humble. Then had to do a baptism interview for the other elders. Ate lunch with them, then came back to Yuto. Visited a few less actives, including the guy that came up to us on Tuesday when I was in my shorts. He said he was afraid of the members talking bad on him, thats why he doesn´t go to church. He used to be the Young Mens President, and Seminary teacher. But has been inactive for about 3 years. But he promised to go to church. Finished the night with the Former investigators that we ate lunch with on Tuesday, and they also fed us again!

SUNDAY- We had 2 Less actives come to church, so that basically doubled our attendance. I also had a talk, and I didn´t feel like I was too prepared, I could have done a lot better. After church, we talked with the branch president, and he told us to be careful with the less active member that came up to us on tuesday, that the missionaries have had a problem with him in the past, and that he stole from the missionaries, and the church..... So thats good to know.

Today we have been taking it easy. Had lunch to celebrate Nahuels birthday. Other than that it´s been a relaxing day!

No photos becuase the usb ports on this computer don´t work.. Welcome to Argentina.

Hope to focus a lot on Obediencethis week and becoming more Consegratedto the Lord

Monday night we stayed in Ledesma to do splits with 2 elders, spent the whole time contacting and trying to find them new investigators. Very successfull.

Tuesday we went on splits with the other elders in Ledesma for the whole day. I was with Elder Hess again in his area. The day wasn´t too successful because we had to run a bunch of errands, then finished it off with Noche De Hogar. We talked about the importance of the Atonement in our lives, and I explained the importance about being worthy to take the sacrament.

Wednesday we left for Caimancito. Found a few solid possibilities. Also something bit my finger, it didn´t hurt, but it swelled up fast. Then finished the night at a family night with some members. I drank two cups of matte cocido, it was the first time that I actually enjoyed it! also a cat farted on my shoulder

Thursday we did some service before going to the Hospital to visit a member, he wasn´t there. But I took advantage of the opportunity to ask about my finger, I have ¨Celulitis de partes blanas¨ Idk what that means but im infected. Went back to ledesma in the noche and I ate a large amount of noodles that was an immediate mistake.

Friday didn´t sleep whatsoever due to the fact that Elder Fuga snores like a train. Had to get up early to get to Oran for the Zone Training. I once again sat in the trunk of the car for the ride, and the whole time I thought I was going to throw up because my stomach was killing me. Zone conference was good, but we didn´t really learn too much. Had our Branch family night, then a member brought us Milanesa sandwiches. Milanesa sandwiches are way better when they are free.

Saturday for exercizes we climped up a 90 rung ladder to get to the top of a tower. It was pretty sketchy because the first thing I asked my self when I got to the top was ¨If I were to fall, which direction would I rather go?¨, but im still alive so we´re cool. We didn´t have water all day, and I super shrunk my Patchriarcal (thats not how you spell it.) Blessing so that it fits in my Missionary Handbook!

Sunday we went to the Cordoba temple dedication. It was really sweet. Pres Uchtdorf gave some really good talks about always being ready for Christ to come, even if it´s only in the form of other people. And Elder Christofferson speaks solid spanish. Got home and visited some members so Elder Pizarro could say bye.
Elder Pizarro got transfered to Tucuman, and my new companion is Elder Urbina from Hondorus.

Highlight of the week is that I found a donut shop and they sell super awesome dulce de leche filled chinese donuts
SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday: In the night, we found a new investigator that is awesome! We taught him a little about the Plan of Salvation, but we focused on baptism. We invited him to be baptized, but declined saying, I want to be baptized with my whole family. PERFECT. We finished the night at Nahuels (Elders quorme pres, got home from the mission in Brazil in octuber. Has a brother in the mission. Mom was one of the first converts in Yuto, Dad isn´t member, but goes to church every week.) and ate pizza. Fun fact: I was bleeding out of my belly button tuesday night. Not so sure if thats normal.......

Wednesday: We went to Caimancito to teach the big family we teach. We re-taught the Resoration. At the end, they asked a bunch of questions that we specifically answered during the lesson, so we re-re-taught it and told them to pay attention. They loved the message and realized they needed to pray. So it ended up being good! Towards the end of the night we talked to Oscar (dad of nahuel that goes to church everyweek.) about his desires. He knows he needs to be baptized, and he knows he will be baptized, but he said that maybe by the time his other son is home, he will be ready. Before the lesson, Elder Pizarro and I knew he would say that, so we wanted him to ask his son what he should do on Sunday when they Skyped. We then left to another lesson, and I wanted to take a shortcut, but my comp said we would get robbed. I told him we would be fine, so he put the phone in his sock and we took the shortcut. We headed down the dark trail, and about 30 seconds later, we saw 2 homies walking a different direction. As we crossed paths, they stopped and followed us. One guy was real close behind me and the other looked like he was taking something out of his coat, but we couldn´t see too good. My companion kept conversation with them the whole time, while I waited for a knife to enter into my kidney. After Elder Pizarro told them they were missionaries, they left. We will no longer be taking shortcuts here. I also found a solid article from Pres. Monson during study time. ¨Listen, Learn, Labor, Love.¨ https://speeches.byu.edu/talks/thomas-s-monson_time-choose/

Thursday: We had a giant war with the pokies that always stick to your pants. They come in the shape of plants, and hurt remarkable when you get hit with them. We then left to Jujuy for the multizone conference with Elder Vias of the 70. We got on the bus and it was a party. Elder Iongi was there, so He, Elder Fuga, and I sang songs for the 2 hour trip. We got to our Hotel (yes, we slept in a hotel) and settled in. We then decided to go out for food, so 6 of us piled into the elevator. As the doors shut, we noticed a sign saying that only one person at a time can use the elevator........... we were stuck. After 10 minutes of trying to pry the doors open, Elder Iongi found a lever that made the doors open very easily... we then escaped to find out that our door wouldn´t open and that was another 10 minute adventure..

Friday: Woke up and enjoyed a 20 hot water shower (people in america, your blessed) We got to the conference and everybody greeted Elder Vias with a firm handshake, but I thought that was kinda weird, so I embraced him with a big ol famous J Bear hug. The conference was REALLY good. It was about ¨How the atonement helps us become better missionaries.¨ Lots of revalation was recieved. Once we got back, an investigator that we droped came to family night and was excited to be baptized, so we are working for that.

Saturday: Had a big $50 peso breakfast. Didn´t have too much success in the morning. My birthday lunch was arguable one of my least favorite items here, but i wasn´t too worried about it. Afternoon was successless until 6. We had a cake and hot chocolate party. The cake was freaking amazing. Then Gabi asked if she could leave and work with us. Had a few lessons, and a member gave us some really yummy pizza.Â

Sunday: Sunday we had 4 investigators in church #Record Then ate a PIG for lunch. After we went to Caimancito, and one of our invesigators said that she didn´t want to pray, because she felt comfortable in her church. She told us that she was super confused, but didn´t want to pray to get rid of the confusion. Basically she would rather be confused than know that her iglesia isn´t the iglesia of Christ..... K. Got home and skyped with the fam!
